Since my research focuses on pigments, I plan to create a small artist’s book in a zine format made from plywood that opens up like a sculptural object. It will act as a space to document my encounters, stories, and everyday interactions painted on both sides.

 

I’ll work with pigment made from soil, exploring ways to create more authentic, grounded materials. The zine will function much like my sketchbook, holding fragments of memories, fleeting observations, personal reflections, and traces of the days I spend working and noticing.
